Ugh, I am sleepy.

But, ftp uploading of photos not finished so can't go bed yet.

Took a 6-mile bike ride with dave on his new bike today. My bike, an old one Katy bought and never really used, is actually a decent ride, and is comfy enough. However, it is teal. I desperately need to repaint it. It is teal with hot pink accents. Yes, this was a mountain bike intended for adults. Apparently adult males, from the frame shape.
Go figure.

So I'm going to paint it black and put flames on it, one of these days. :)

Six miles wasn't bad for a bike ride. We went down Colvin to Delaware Park and rode the circumference of the park. Dave wanted to go around twice but I thought that might be pushing my luck a bit.
We stopped and looked at the zoo's bisons, which are at the edge of the zoo so park-goers can see them for free. Since it's Buffalo after all. Get it? Har har!

As far as I could tell, even American bison cows have horns. I could be wrong; I haven't really got any true experience at identifying a bovine vulva. But it sure looked like one to me.

Shrug.

Dave's bike is great, he says, which is excellent. If we ride bikes maybe I'll actually find a form of exercise that doesn't bore the living snot out of me. Because riding places with him is actually kind of fun. And yet, strenuous.
So maybe he won't die of a heart attack at forty, and maybe I'll be able to pour myself back into size twelve jeans. (I'm not being terribly ambitious, there.)

Really, I'd kind of like to be back down to a D-cup, maybe somewhere around 160 pounds, maybe a size 10 or 12. That'd be kinda cool. I don't want to be a skinny chick. I'm just tired of having to shop hard just to find clothes. Stupid. I hate shopping. I could spend less time doing it if I were smaller...

Ah well. We'll see. I'm not going nuts and buying all kinds of bike accessories (beyond the bare minimum: a bike seat that doesn't leave me feeling totally violated by life) until I've clocked at least 30 miles on that thing. (I just pulled that number out of my butt.)
