2 cool things:
1) Dave bought a bike. It was around $300-- by Specialized, a hybrid, XL frame, huge, tall, lightweight, grip shifters, 21 speeds, black and silver. High handlebars, front and rear shocks-- it's comfy, it's pretty, it's huge (tallest freaking bike ever)---
Bought it at Schickluna, 1835 Hertel Ave, Buffalo NY 14216. Nice sales guy, tall-- so he had tall bikes in stock.
We tried Handlebars, on Englewood, but most of their bikes were like 16" or so, so-- too short for a guy with a 36" inseam.
I highly recommend either store, however. I'm going to go buy all my bike accessories at Handlebars because they were so nice, AND they have so much stuff.
2) Katy's CD of photos finally arrived. I have several hundred photos to import, color-balance, crop, rotate, correct, and caption, and then those will be up online, tonight or tomorrow. Might do a teaser page tonight.
So, this evening we're probably going out for a fish fry. Then Dave and I are going to take our bikes down by the lake for a nice long ride. It'll be awesome. He'll be leaving me in the dust a lot, though. I'll get used to it.
My sunburn is healing because Dave bought me a new spray can of Solarcaine, which wasn't expired, and by that, the placebo effect, sheer force of will, and a brief spell of leaning against the cold glass outside of the storefront window at Schickluna, I have made it through most of today. :)
I am going to go look at pictures now. Yay!!!
