I'm reading blogs. it's kind of fun. Later, we're going to get Dave's face mowed, but for now, I'm doing the blogger thing and linking to things that amuse me. Most of these links were probably from my cursory reading of Rebecca's Pocket, but at this point I'm so deep into a sea of opened tabs that I don't know where they all came from...

Heh heh heh. One Sunny Day In 2005: a nice little fantasy.

This seems interesting, but the colors hurt my eyes and I can't sit through reading it.
However. Simultaneous Policy, it's called-- and the idea is to unite disparate individual political aims into a sort of global whole-- "accelerate progress toward a sustainable global economy" by making people "tired of being 'anti- anti- anti-'-- anti-globalization, anti-unfair trade, anti-unilateralism" into people "for a new world order founded on international cooperation and goodwill."
I am shallow, and have composed this with my separate blogging window over the blinding colors at the top of the page. I urge those of you more intellectual than I to actually read this website and let me know if these are crack addicts, or as cool as I thought they might be.

In other news, when did they find water on Mars? They so totally did! That's cool. I'm hoping they find aliens. That would rock.

Whoa. If I were a stats geek, or indeed even understood them, I'd have to go change my underwear. This is just a big site of cool statistics and stuff, collecting data from the UN, the CIA, the WHO, the World Bank, the World Resources Institute, UNESCO, UNICEF, and the OECD. Neat-o.

Street Memes: Pray for Pills. See something odd repeated in a public place? Take a picture of it and submit it to this site. They're collecting weird stuff.

In more personal news... you may ask, why this sudden interest in the outside world?
Because I'm bored snotless.
Yes... I have no snot.
That's just a pity, isn't it?

I finally got a gel bike seat, but it's raining now and I'm not riding in the rain.
Dave still doesn't have his bike, and I don't want to ride around alone.
Also, I am lazy.

I still haven't phoned up the bartending people. I don't know why I keep just not doing it. But I will. I'm ready to get out of the damn house now and then.

I am so cold. Brr. Perhaps I'll go do something less introverted than surfing the Internet. Shrug. Ah yes, I have to, because dave's about to take down the network to install a new cable modem. Yay! Later...
