oh creepy.
i'm listening to a cd i ripped from my parents' collection: Greatest Hits of 1721. This is a song called Adagio (from Oboe concerto in C minor) and I can't see who it's by.
But the recording quality is so good that they've picked up on the noises the keys of the oboe are making as they are moved. Also, you can hear the oboeist breathing, and occasionally you can hear his mouth moving on the reed.

creepy.

it gives another dimension to those fluttering little grace notes when you can hear the pads of the keys as they flap over the holes, and the little metal parts clicking as the keys move.

it's subtle and I only noticed it because I'm wearing Dave's Uber-Cool Giant headphones. Dave's taking another nap. Sometimes i worry about him. He went to bed at around 9 last night and tonight has gone to bed at around 6:15. I don't think he'll be getting up, unless he gets too hungry. I only fed him fried noodles, and didn't really bother making any more dinner than that. I'm getting a little hungry, so if he wakes up he'll be starved.
Who knows...
