On The Uselessness Of Everything

Ask for more Moomin books for Christmas.
You may notice that there's a decidedly Moomin-indebted naming scheme to this whole bag of potatoes. Especially Dave's stuff. Our old server was called Hemulen, and the website was named after it. His new one is called The Hattifatteners... I used to be Snork-Maiden...

Anyway, I was simply quoting the Muskrat in my title and don't really make any sense.
I'm at work and am pondering the uselessness of everything, is all.
I'm also cold, and wish I had some ramen noodles to eat, but know I'm not really hungry, so... Perhaps it's just a craving for salt. Time to spit out the elderly mint gum.

Mmm... not ramen. Chicken noodle soup... Yeah, that'd be great.
Ah well.

I'm working now, on a number of things. I'm writing a press release for Kim Krause's new e-book, which has taken me over half a week now and is ridiculously behind. I'm also working on an article about porn. Hm. I'm also working on preparing my website to be worked-over by a real designer. And... I'm working on a press release for our new Dietary software module, at my real work.
I'm also theoretically working on a help system.
And, a novel.
What's actually getting done?
Nothing.
What's at least getting worked on?

Well, I spent much of this weekend working on the novel. Which, of course, dove straight into the purple-penned regions of erotica whence I delve when under stress. Instead of deleting the offending scene, I went and made it an integral part of the novel now, advancing the plot through dialogue that occurs inextricably within the squishy, explicit bits.
Yes.
I rule.
I am so freaking inefficient.
But anyway...
I'm also darned sleepy. And dressed like a fruitcake.
I was going to make a deep, well-reasoned point here, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Which is why I have a personal blog, after all. So that I'm not always under pressure to perform when I publish. i can publish crap, too. :D Yay!

Oh, a side note-- Dave's got one comment so far. A fart joke from his buddy Chris. I was going to link to Chris' blog there but forgot the URL again. So lazy-- not looking it up. :D
