Bit of a bummer, isn't it?

I had managed to convince myself that it was just the rest of the world who were idiots and that's why I have problems dealing with it, but I'm having a very hard time maintaining that belief in the face of the sheer preponderance of numbers on their side. How does everyone else manage to live in this world if they're all idiots too? Why doesn't anyone else think it's this hard? I'm thinking some of the scientific logic that would be used to explain that would tend to weaken my case on my own behalf.
