dragonlady7just when you think that you've been so thoroughly pissed-off by something that it can't hurt you any more....

a co-worker asked me about a famously stalled project. I responded Ha, ha. and explained how famously stalled it was. A comedy of errors.
Apparently she was so offended by my flippant tone that she forwarded the email to the manager and complained at how disrespectful I was.
Notice she didn't mention a thing to me, but behaved perfectly cheerfully to me when she saw me about ten minutes later.
So, a month later, I hear about it from my supervisor (who doesn't even know all the details and has gotten several of the important facts wrong...).
What gets me is I'd discussed the project with my manager since, and in the conversation with my supervisor since that, he seemed unaware that he'd told me he would take responsibility for following up. So I was informed by my supervisor that she was disgusted that i wans't following up, etc.
Look, they're already tring to make me quit. At this point I'm at least presenting the semblance of doing important work.
If they want, I'll just sit here all day long and cry.
It's a possibility. If they want.
Motherfuckers. I hate this fucking place. So fucking much.
Oh, by the way, they've installed a fingerprint scanner by the door. Rather than actually bothering to talk to problem employees who don't work the proper hours, or institute any sort of rewards system to motivate those who work hard already, they've simply bought and installed an expensive system that will probably not work.
