It feels like afternoon already! Yay!

I wanted to post about what I did this morning, and Xjournal ate it. (Motherfucker.)
Converted several documents to HTML, and they're now in my Copywriting Samples repertoire. I'd forgotten about that journalism class-- how useful.
That was good work.
I also made two lasagnas.
I also cleaned the sink, did all the dishes, ran the dishwasher, and cleaned the counter. And part of the floor.
I also responded to a bunch of good forum posts.
I also responded to some emails.
I was productive.
And, I got an hour-long nap. I was for some reason all wound up, but I lay very peacefully for an hour just before dawn and hallucinated deleriously, in that way when you're asleep but not asleep, and it was quite pleasant.
I'm alert today, which is good, and I'm productive.
T's mysteriously not in, and hasn't told anyone where she is. *shrug* She went to the doctor yesterday, and so I had a nice afternoon alone, productive, while she was gone, and at the end of the day the boss called me into his office and excitedly told me all about the project I'm working on now, and had lots of good ideas, and was generally very friendly. Did he actually want me fired a week ago? No, I'm pretty damn sure that was mostly T's spin on things. Which makes me disgruntled, but not necessarily against the company.
I've gotten a lot done so far today, and it feels like I should be going home in a couple hours. Oh well... time has no meaning at work anyway.
I'm plotting to take over the desk next to mine. It'd be nice, anyway... the monitor of that old computer has begun to emit a high-pitched whine that makes me want to kill people. So... One of these days I'm going to come in at 6 am, move it to a new spot, and act like nothing happened. "Huh? Me? I don't know what you're talking about. I've always had the window seat."
Oh well.
I've got a lot of work lined up this weekend, so we'll see how that works out. Most of it's for me, no worries, but one of the things I want to learn to do for me is going to be useful at work. So, I'm going to try to get Dave to teach it to me.
Helps that the server at home is similar to the one here. Except the server here is ancient and a piece of crap. And ours at home is awesome. Totally.
I'm also going to work on the article series that's going to make me famous. Sure.
I'll get Panther in a couple weeks. It'll be awesome. It'll rock my NADS. And, I'll be cool.
