actually i'm really hungry now, but no tahou's. i just had tahou's yesterday and haven't run any marathons or killed any children since. so... i have to wait. so pizza for me instead.

The main st. location, or lyell ave? bummer that main st. is closed after dark now... so we always go over to Lyell. Darius is an RIT kid, so that's more his home turf anyhow. did you hear, they opened up a branch in Oswego? That might be closer to you... but i don't know how a satellite branch of Tahou's would work. Part of the glory of the plate is the sheer gloom of Rochester, that makes it all so bitter and yet so sweet. sweet, sweet Tahou's.
I always get a cheeseburger plate, mac salad homefries everything, with my tahou's mug refilled with pepsi. Except sometimes, when I feel more like craving cheesy grease that melts in the mouth better than a big ol' chuck of Grade D beef does, I'll get the grilled-cheese plate with french fries and home fries. I put both ketchup and A-1 on them. Darius and I go so often and tip so well that they give us extra-big plates, so I've lost my perfect record of always finishing. It's not a point of pride anymore. But I still do my best.
Thanks for the invite! about every 2 months we make the trip. usually on a SAT. gotta stop at house of guitars 1st, then Nicks for lunch. I've never been to the Lyell Ave locale, but I heard it's a lot better than the one on Main St. Of course, I only know how to get to the Main St Nicks.
I'm getting the urge for a cheeseburger - no onions - plate. that's my fave ! Someday soon. It's been a few months since my last one.
