I have to see these as a metaphor, I just spent too long in lit classes not to. But what does this metaphor mean? The stone columns if the building where I work, which are really made of Styrofoam and apparently intentionally hover four inches above the ground? Can I make tiny Atlas lawn gnomes to go under them? Would I get in trouble? Would anyone notice? (at Delaware Camera)
