Army sister sent a couple of photos this morning and I had to share this one. The middle boy, newly 7, got a black eye from taking a cleat to the face in soccer, and plans to tell anyone who asks that he was fighting a mountain goat and won. The girl, 4, had discussed wearing the hat and boots the previous night with her mother, and her mother had said it would be a cowgirl outfit, so the girl decided to go whole hog on her idea of what that meant. It involves a pinafore and a scarf. She is a fashion icon in the making and I couldn’t be more proud of her.
