So I just filled out my absentee ballot & if y’all Americans don’t know this already, the League of Women Voters has this super cool, interactive Personalized Ballot thing where you put in your address and pull up all the races and candidates you’ll be voting for, and compare different options, and then save all the answers & email them to yourself so you can keep track of everything.
It was fun for me, anyway! Also especially helpful for down ballot races, where I didn’t know anything about the candidates or the issues.
Plus for things like school board members or judges, another good resource is Ballotpedia, which has things like endorsements, which is what I ended up basing a lot of my decisions on for the school board members etc.
