uh those are day-old broilers. they do that. Chickens of all kinds are nosy as fuck. but. uh. good luck getting out of there without stepping on them. what’s your plan for that, buddy? what’s your plan? they won’t move. They don’t know what feet are. Also maybe don’t do that because they’ll pile up and squish each other.Those cardboard boxes are what they’re shipped in from the hatchery. Those are chicks straight out the package. I guess that’s what a commercial facility looks like inside. Note the ventilation fans, because ammonia builds up, because they don’t clean that floor until that batch is gone for slaughter. I never really thought about this. I feel weird about this.
