I am actually experiencing small anxieties over the fact that I am writing a Bucky/Nat/Steve threesome scene that would fit just perfectly into a later chapter of Full of Grace and I am sort of worried that people won’t want to read Yet Another Poly Fic from me and also sort of worried that people have signed on for the het ship and will be upset if it gets slashy. Writing this down and acknowledging it makes me feel like that’s sort of a silly thing to worry about– if I saw someone else make a post like this I’d be like, dude write what you want– but I do have a couple of commenters who are kind of funny about this. So it’s not totally unjustified for me to be worried.
It’s just– not up to them and I should probably stop letting myself worry about it. People like threesomes. I write threesomes well. But the thing that matters is that I like writing threesomes. And that’s got no bearing on my personal life, it’s just a thing. I like those characters and I see no need not to resolve love triangles with polyamory.
