SINCE THIS CAME UP (even in a jokey way) I just want to do a moment of shameless self-promotion of my 100% serious, absolutely not crack in any way, Maz Kanata/Snoke fanfic.
(AKA: I said “I can come up with a way to seriously ship almost any pair of characters, though it may take a wild AU scenario. Even Maz/Snoke.” Someone immediately said, “FIC OR IT DIDN’T HAPPEN.” I wrote this. It’s now my most dearly-held secret headcanon with no basis in whatsoever in reality except that SHUT UP THERE’S NOTHING THAT DIRECTLY CONTRADICTS IT SO IT COULD BE TRUE.)
