phew i completed that prompt fill assignment. i knew i only needed, like, a solid 45 minutes and breathing space!
so now I’m caught up. Except. Well. I kind of Jossed a lot of what I’d written for the rest of whatever the hell I named the last installment of Home in the Wind. (Like, Finn wasn’t supposed to meet Kes yet. I only relented on that last night. So that’s borked a whole scene I wrote later, but honestly, that other scene wasn’t that good, so I’m not sorry, except that I’m going to think I’m nearly done and then I’m going to trip over it and like, oh, fuck.)
This is the problem with working on something over such a long period of time. And it’s not even that long a story, what the fuck have I been doing this whole time? Ugh. Anyway.
I do have another Kes/Shara short to put up at some point. And I want to write more of that. But no, I really ought to take a good hard look at the next bits of Story I Started Posting Today.

I knew summer was going to be really busy, and I meant to leave my summer really light, but somehow the little Star Wars project wound up being a 7-month WIP? Like? WTF, me.
It’s not even that long a story. Ugh.
