I took a picture of the pretty roses to balance the unattractive but delicious tamale. The downside of Palenque being ~authentic~ is that if you order the combo platters you sort of get what you get, but I discovered that you can just straight-up order a bunch of tamales so that’s gonna be my game plan going forward.
