I’ve seen it happen, just like that, but with a sewing machine, not a serger. It would be fine for a few days and then start doing it again. Once it was the thread getting caught up somewhere and then when the thing with the hole in it (no idea what it’s called) went up, the thread came out of the needle. Another time we had to oil the machine and leave it for 3 days for something to loosen up. In the middle of sewing a quilt
Between sewing machine woes and work film/printing machine woes, I wish I were in any way mechanically inclined.
I wonder if there is a specific branch of witchcraft for this sort of thing because I need to become a practitioner of that.
(I got a couple of books on witchcraft but it all seems very… made-up, and I happen to be extremely good at making up things, making up things that are very truthful, and a lot of the things I am reading don’t have that ring of truth for me? and it’s. I don’t know. It doesn’t resonate properly. I am trying. As in all things, I am constantly on a fine line between being serious and kidding.)
(I am seriously worried that my serger wants a blood sacrifice though. NO, dude. No!)
