@ bomberqueen17 this is a formal public announcement that yesterday I found myself calling my child Little Beep and now it has STUCK, she is Little Beep FOREVER because actually a sturdy and determined 5 year old is a lot like how I imagine BB-8: about the same height, unpredictable and sometimes hard for outsiders to understand, human interaction is still a bit of a mystery to them and they ask questions that make other adults uncomfortable; good at beeping, enjoys fast dangerous stuff, offers unconditional love but my god you’ve got to earn it by fighting people with a big stickanyway everyone read Can’t go home this way for insight into the character of my child
*squeee* That’s probably the best thing I’ve ever heard. :)
Your child sounds adorable. My favorite thing about kids is how every single one of them is a huge weirdo before they start having to filter themselves in order to interact with society. But before those filters go on– man oh man. I love how goddamn weird every single child ever is.
Dang it, I did it, I wrote kidfic, that’s what this is.
I haven’t decided how Kes feels about his grandchild being an AI, but that’s kind of what’s going on here and Poe kind of realizes it.
