Listen, not only did Geralt go through the Trials twice, but also got himself that augmentation in Blood and Wine, so what does that make him? What does that give him?
Fangs? Even bigger fangs?
Enhanced hearing so that that thing you described unsettles even other witchers?
Perhaps some more animalistic instinct? More ferocious fighting style? Augmented strength and dexterity? Regeneration? Magic strong enough to make even Yennefer take a step back? Enhancement of the monster mutagens like claws, horns, a taste for blood or raw meat (canon because that’s all he eats in my playthroughs)?
That guy can, in the worst case, defeat Dettlaff in his final form. We’ve seen how he and Regis mowed through the soldiers at Dun Tynne like they were nothing. Geralt not only did manage to survive, but to also emerge victorious.
What the hell is he????
Hhhhhhhhehhehehehehhehehhehe I love exploring his less human side and juxtaposing it with how human his heart is. Like, you have this monster of a man, and no wonder simple folk are afraid of him, but at his heart he feels so much and loves so deeply, willing to do anything to find his daughter, to help the poor family plagued by a specter, to spare a higher vampire who tried to kill him?
