I mean these embroidered pillows are all in the soft and comfy couch in my mind that I settle on to mentally read these fics which are all fandom classics and beloved by millions. Although perhaps in the future. I want to get back into embroidery myself one of these days, if someone could invent a few more hours in the day I’d be happy thanks
I had closed Tumblr just now but I came back to look for this conversation and am delighted to find another reply, because I am insane.
Because I can’t stop thinking about it. I mean. Realistically you can’t embroider more than like five or six words onto a pillow, but– a screenprint, now, you can do some pretty dense text that way, and then you could make copies. Maybe take some blank fabric, screenprint a longer passage of text on it, perhaps a repeating pattern of the longer passage of text, and then take a shorter quote and embroider it, and– I’m describing making a crazy quilt of quotes about eating ass here, that’s where this is going, I’m just gonna head this off at the pass and lay that out there before I delude myself that I’m talking about anything else here.
If I had any art talent that would really be something.
I have, coincidentally, no non-damaged pillowcases for the throw pillows in my house (my new couch came with really dumb pillows that say names of random cities on them and also the fabric is pilling after six months of use?), and also a lot of screen printing equipment, three dozen zippers a friend bought me by accident, and a serger. So I mean.
My boyfriend would probably leave me if I made a set of pillows about Stormpilot ass-eating though. So maybe just one.
