Here’s a zobar2 photo from our drive from ísafjördur airport to Heydalur. It’s like 3pm so the light has just shifted from sunrise to sunset, and we had no idea what we were getting into. As I was editing I liked this one for the composition, and cropped it slightly to frame the road curve, and tweaked the color to bring up everything that wasn’t twilight-blue.
The road, highway 61, is named Djupveger or The Deepway, and we didn’t know it yet but we were going to get to experience almost all of it.
