this is basically why i’ve moved back across the country and am job-hunting in an awful market. :(
For a while after college we were all spread out across the country and none of us were nearby, so when Mom’s mother and brother died in relatively short order she was on her own to deal with it and none of us could even make it home for the funerals. :( I’m glad we’ve managed to collect ourselves nearer-by again, but it’s not easy.
