Yes! My smaller child has very changeable blue/brown eyes too and it depends so much on the light what colour they look. That’s my excuse for caring as much as I do about an actor’s eye colour - although we don’t need to justify why we care around here! We can just care, ok!
It’s true, we can just– care! We can just care. Everyone can care as much as they want to, and can stop caring or start caring whenever they want.
Hence me writing a rant about it, when I honestly don’t care that much either. (I did think it might be fun to try to hunt down pictures and come up with better descriptions, but I haven’t time at the moment, perhaps I’ll rewatch the series later.)
It’s just. It’s just weird how there seem to be people who seem sort of invested in them being Super Blue, of all things. Of all things! Maybe it’s a shorthand for all the other things that really are true of his eyes and how he expresses things with them, but it’s an odd shorthand I feel needs pointing out.
