Today's "out of the mouths of babes" moment came when we were at a neighbor's picking blueberries, me and Sister and Farmkid, and there was a lovely friendly cat, and I petted her and called her "my dear", and Farmkid, mouth stuffed absolutely full of blueberries (and none in her bucket), said contemplatively,"aunt B calls everyone 'my dear'," and I was like,"do I?" and Sister said, "uh, yes."

So. I guess. There I am
