No no, absolutely it's a valid pattern, and now I really *want* to do something more substantial than my usual stuff, especially since doing a stack of hexagons would feel less intimidating than just going into it planning to make a quilt or something. I'm still at the stage where I can only take up something I'll finish in a week of vague-stitching while watching a show. *g*
