I need to take a bunch more cold medication because I feel like crap.
But! I’ve done like four loads of laundry, snuggled the cat extensively (she slept on my chest this morning on the couch, for a while, deeply enough that she was dream-twitching, and it was cute), AND I’ve written almost 5k words for NaNoWriMo today. I only managed, like, a little less than 1000 yesterday, but today’s efforts have put me back within striking distance of the goal, after several days in a row of 0 words when farm shit and holiday shit got too much.
I’m at 39k, and par for today is just over 41k. so.
A character has gone from being a minor annoying background sort into being, like, The Villain, and it’s clunky but I’m sure I can revise it. so that’s progress.
ugh my lungs are filled with sticky trash, it’s awful. Dude heroically bought me the good kind of Sudafed, though, so I gotta get off my ass and take some. Just. I need a minute, first. (I have been lying here an hour meaning to get up and take it.)
