Dude just now was musing about cold-blooded animals, and how weird it would be to have to give that much thought to your temperature regulation. Wouldn’t it suck, he posited, to have been, like, caught off-guard by a sudden drop in temperature, and so you didn’t turn up the thermostat, and then it got cold so you went into torpor– imagine, like, just being stuck like that until suddenly it was spring and you woke up.
and then he laughed so hard he had a coughing fit, and when he could speak again, he kind of squeak-gasped “i cracked myself up” and went off again.
