Oh gosh
I never actually finished reading @bomberqueen17 ‘s ‘Home Out In The Wind’ series (life happened), but I’m having a funk and reading non-stop fic right now, and
Never Wrote A Letter’s final chapter has a detailed if ad-hoc scene involving Poe acting as emergency ground marshal in a spaceport.
I have so many feelings about space ground crew.
So many.
I forgot I did that and had to go back and look at it. Oh yeah! We’d talked about ground crews, months or years before that, and it had made me think that it’s something we never saw in Star Wars but like, it’d have to be everywhere. You can’t just. Land spaceships wherever!
[insert long contemplation of how a society with omnipresent space ships would even work.]
I’m sorry to hear about your funk. I hope the reading helps. I go through phases like that and have been fighting one off lately.
It was good for me to read a little of that fic again, and remember that i have in fact finished things, and honestly they were reasonably well-paced so it’s not like I don’t know how. I just don’t seem to be able to do it at the moment, but surely I have before, so I can again someday…
