aw i broke my 75-day streak on duolingo yesterday. it’s ok, it wasn’t really teaching me anything good. i need to buckle down and use the damn textbook i got from my dad instead.
to up the stakes, my bestie’s sister, who took russian in high school and invited me to send her letters in russian to practice, wrote back to my initial attempt, and oh. hoo boy. i don’t. uh. i don’t know any russian, it turns out.
