You polish and polish stuff, and edit and edit, and go over it over and over, and you’re sure it’s perfect, and then you paste it into the AO3 window and hit “preview” and look it over for formatting stuff and suddenly it is so clunky and redundant and what were you thinking and oh my goodness you said that twice and there’s a continuity error and three typos and the whole scene doesn’t even make sense and what is this garbage
