Many things can be true at once.

Israel is an apartheid state that unjustly occupies Palestinian land.

Israel is a Jewish state.

Jews worldwide do not bear the responsibility of the Israeli army or government.

The American government backs Israel, largely because of the efforts of evangelical Christian lobbyists. Wether or not Jewish Americans want this is irrelevant to the USA military.

The American government is rooted in white supremacy and antisemitism, and is constantly verging on Christian theocracy.

Criticism of Israel, while necessary, can very easily be co-opted into antisemitism. It needs to be handled carefully.

We can expect both antisemitic and Islamophobic hate crimes to spike in the coming weeks.

Jews and Muslims are not enemies. We have to remember that and stand up for each other.

two horrible things are true at once:

-Palestinians are being systematically wiped out by israeli colonizers with the full support of the US military

-there is nowhere, nowhere, else for the jews of israel to live. over the course of the 20th century, before during and after the antisemitic purges of western europe, jews in the rest of the middle east were systematically expelled from their home nations, when they weren’t just wiped out.

-the same christians who are funding the israeli massacres of palestinians very much want all american jews to be gone from this nation, whether that means murder or just putting a cup over us and a piece of paper under us and scooting us across the ocean to be israelis.

-once all the jews are in israel the rapture will happen. yeah, it’s jewish zionists who are doing the shooting and bombing right now. but it’s christian fascists who are handing them the bullets, and keeping plenty back for stage two.

-the more dangerous the world gets for jews, the less options jews around the world have but surrendering to zionism, and this is by design. antisemitism and zionism work together as neatly as a right and left boot.

-by all means condemn the nationalist atrocities of the israeli government. but don’t forget that jews aren’t welcome anywhere else. and you’re not as subtle as you think you are when you think jews should just quietly and politely cease to exist at all. (Your picture was not posted)
