Ha, I considered letting him get actually injured but it upset me too much, so I didn’t do it.

I don’t recall my exact decisions concerning the aftermath scenes there, but– I will say, I generally have a policy that fanworks of a fanwork are perfectly cool in my book so if you feel a really strong hankering to write a scene where he has more screentime in that afterwards bit, you could super do that. I do mean that, genuinely. Hit me up if you want to workshop that at all.

But what I do have, is that I have a whole Faengil-centric bit coming up, and actually that’s part of why I cut the story off at the end of Growing Out, so I could start the next bit in his POV, and put all the appropriate warnings on and such. I should discuss that a bit but I don’t have time right now; suffice to say, I want to let Faengil grow up a little bit and experience some stuff and also get to have some of his own little narrative moments. So that’s coming up, I just have to, uh, write it, lol. (Your picture was not posted)
