ugh i’m back in buffalo and i have unlimited internet but no idea what to do with myself. i woke up in the middle of the night super confused. chita got in bed and meowed at me to pet her and i dreamed that i did, and a moment later she meowed again all annoyed and i realized i had not, in fact, petted her at all. she does not meow like whiskey. also i had no mosquito net to contend with.

dude had been grocery shopping and so now our fridge is full, and i’m leaving again in like, a week, so uh, good luck eating all this. but i have a bagel the way i like it, and coffee with cream and sugar, which i don’t get at the farm (they have milk, and they have sugar, but nobody else takes their coffee that way so i’d have to go hunt it down every time and i just… don’t). 

my various skin issues have all utterly vanished (except some healing eczema on my middle finger) after one (1) single shower and night without mosquitoes. I have a fuckton of freckles on my arks that I didn’t last month, and one hive that blistered and now looks like I burnt myself but I know I didn’t. 

I have no idea what to do with myself. I can lounge around naked and not get devoured by mosquitoes. 

The highlight of this return has been talking to Dude for hours. 

The lowlight of this return is that I gotta go to work today and I literally have no idea how I’m going to get myself together enough to cope. Ugh.

I… don’t know why I expected anything different but honestly I did! I’m really disappointed in myself. I genuinely had built it up that we were going to Really Do This and be Done With It. Like some kind of idiot fool who hasn’t been working here ten years.
