Blocked solid on every WIP. Not even discovering that Riz Ahmed has freckles on his nose can save me. (I’d put up a pic as proof but photos high-res enough for them to show up are universally not the most flattering even to a creature as lovely as he is, so I won’t do that to him, but find any sufficiently high-res photo and you’ll see!)
I did reread Found Cat today though. #1 yes I can totally cross it over with Sled Dog Guy. #2 though wow I have like, basically the same scenes, only Poe’s white dude cooking goes totally unexamined.
I’m kind of a hack. It’s okay though. Dick Francis was like my mom’s favorite author when I was a kid and he was a hojillionaire and wrote the same book every year for like 30 years, nobody’s going to get too fussed if I write the same story over and over again on the Internet.
Maybe while I’m irredeemably blocked on sex scenes though I’ll go look at one of the like eight threesome scenes I’m blocked on, that’d be cool. I’ve missed my window of opportunity of timely updates on like literally every story ever so it’s all the same.
