Why is it that I run out of steam so fast when I garden?
It just took me over an hour to repot a bunch of plants, and to prepare a bunch of other pots to hold new plants, and I just feel exhausted, like it was sooooo difficult. I didn't do any heavy lifting. But I feel like I can't go on, I just can't do any more...
I am obviously very silly. But my "start 3-4 wks before last frost" plants are like 2 weeks behind schedule now, and I have a lot more bed prep to do before I can even think about planting all the stuff I'm going to have to start putting in in less than 2 weeks. So I dunno when I'm going to get it all done.

Have bout footage put together and finished, with the proper scores in every jam, but of course, the time-consuming part is compressing it. And the dialogue box, of COURSE, has been stuck on "Less than a minute remaining..." for the better part of an hour. (That's why I was puttering outside...)

Oop!!! It just finished!!! OK, on to the next part.

I can't believe they ran this one

So it may not be common knowledge, but even though Z no longer works at the local altnewsweekly, I'm still on the homemade advice column mailing list. The column is called "Ask Anyone", and there's just an email list-serv set up that a random assortment of local lights, most of whom write for or work for the alt newsweekly, that the editor sends submitted questions to, and we all write back and read each other's answers. It's fun. I don't contribute much, but I like to read the advice.

One of the questions this week annoyed me, but the other responses pissed me off more: they were all missing the point just as much as the questioner was. So I fired off a fairly angry reply.
They ran it.
