cozy domestic scene
Sep. 12th, 2008 08:13 pmAfter a long day spent cleaning the kitchen while I grocery-shopped and did laundry, Z just made meatloaf for dinner, while reinstalling the latest version of the Mac OS on the old iMac I'm handing down to my little sister.
It's very cozy in here.
It's been a dreary, rainy day, except that it has looked like it should be about 60 degrees, but has really been about 75, so I keep instinctively bundling up (especially given how cold it's been lately), only to almost immediately realize I'm pouring sweat. Ugh!
I also keep wanting hot tea or hot cocoa, but by the time I get into the kitchen I realize no, I really want cold water...
I finished my silkscreening project and need more materials so I can continue.
Also, today my order shipped from Reconstructing History. Incidentally, she just came out with Persian patterns, and a pattern for medieval peasant men's clothing, and is about to release mens' Victorian clothing. So, yay!
