yay baby!!
Sep. 2nd, 2008 09:31 amUrsula had her baby on August 28th, and has just managed to tell everyone this side about it. So yay!
I think she needs a care package but I have to get moving on actually making the items that are going to go into it.
Hmmm...... :D
Chita forgave me enough for leaving her that she snuggled with me a bit this morning, so that's good.
I am beginning the process of making my house livable for a third person today. I have decided that I must clean out the basement really well first. Then I can go through everything in storage in the attic, and either unpack it and use it (it's only been... four years?) or transfer it to the basement, but neatly. Then I can remove everything from the 'office' and repaint that room. Then perhaps, perhaps, Dad and I can insulate the attic and make it a usable space, so that we are not all constantly sitting on top of one another. (I think the two rooms downstairs should stay bedrooms, and the upstairs should be an attic/study/library. That's my crazy thinking.)
But if not, my sister can just store all her crap up there. We'll see. But it's starting with cleaning the basement.
Which has nothing to do with the fact that it's 89 here today and the basement is a constant 60 no matter what. Nothing at alllllll.
