Maybe Buffalo is among the poorest cities in the nation, with one of the highest incidences of poverty in the nation (we rank second, behind Detroit, for that statistic, and I've lost the link but it was a recent survey), but, a) we're at the bottom of our downward slide, most likely-- we're not getting worse, we're hanging on just fine, and
b) We have better weather than you. Buffalo's summer nicest in nation

We have had an amazing summer this year. I'm fairly depressed that my plan to be unemployed and a bum did not work out this year.
Sigh.
Wasn't much good for gardening, but was pretty great for everything else. (If it's sunny every day.... uh... your lawn doesn't actually grow all that well.)
