So yesterday Z and I were sitting around the living room taking ridiculous photographs of ourselves with our built-in iSights. (Have I explained that we have twin Macbooks? His is black and mine is white and their specs are sort of opposite, but they're the same model. It's kind of disgusting to be in a room with us.) I've decided that I'm going to maintain my e:strip blog by posting the daily photos I take of myself with the iSight webcam (I cannot stop. It is a filthy addiction) there, by the way. (The entry linked-to is a recounting of the IM conversation I had with Z, so if you want to see a couple of the photos, there they are.)
But we're sitting there, and then Z mentions that we're invited to his mom's to watch the Bills game. His sister and her husband are in town from San Diego, by the way.
( A lot of drinking and laughing until we couldn't stand ensued )

I am still tired today-- sleep deficit from this weekend. But I have so much to do today and it's gorgeous out and... I don't want to move. Zzzzzonk.

housecleaning: pt ii

Just a quick note to say that I am finally getting around to incorporating all your delightful suggestions for the opening scene of the Barbarians Novel, Protector. It means more than I can say, even though I am not very good at responding to comments, that you all took the time to give me your honest opinions.

Now, if only I could do something about the fact that last night I started awake out of a sound sleep with the crushing realization that the end of it sucks. Bah.



In other news I have begun researching a new novel for NaNoWriMo and am chewing my nails in impatience to have something finished and yet I want to start a new thing. Phooey. This must get easier with practice. But I've been saying that for ten years now.
