It bothers me just a little bit that the only time Z ever refers to me by an endearment is when he's angry with me. And so "Dearest" and "Honey" are, apparently, direct analogues for "You unreasonable bitch," and "Psycho."

Home early from work, because I was called in to work early. Would be excited, except that Z, who has just arrived home, seems to still be mad at me about something or other, and isn't really speaking to me except in grunts, so there goes the unprecedented pleasure of being home in time for dinner. Guess I might as well go cook something.
