holy pasty un-toned flesh, Batman!
Feb. 19th, 2005 09:53 amHave just come out of shower and am applying moisturizer. Oh my word. What a situation we have here. (Not that it's different than my situation has ever been.)
My first big, big extravagance, when I next have money piled up that has allowed me to not only pay bills but begin to consider becoming a consumer in this society, is going to be:
Membership to the town gym.
( oh the tubbiness )
Yesterday at work was irritating, ( mostly because people are MORONS )
I came home and Dave had made dinner: the Moosewood Cookbook's spanakopita. It was fabulous. But took an hour to be done, so it was 11 by the time we ate dinner. I fell asleep within about ten minutes afterward. And woke up with garlic breath. Mmmmm.
Dave had also bought large swathes of plastic canvas, that plastic grid stuff used to make atrocious tissue-box cozies and the like (by winding yarn through it). And he had cut it to the proper size. And he is going to construct a series of very complex dividers in the large fishtank so that it can be a Fooshie Palace, and all three betta fish can be in the big tank and can make faces at one another and not be totally traumatized by the weird shapes of the little glass bowls I've put them in. And also, can have a filtration system so their water quality is better, so Al doesn't get sick again and the others don't get sick in the first place. Poor fooshies.
Dave is such an engineer, it's a wonder he can talk to me at all. :D
