San Diego's newspaper has a blog about the fire-- just updates on whether towns are saved or destroyed, and lists of how many houses have been lost in each fire from various townships.

Seems that Krista and Eric's neighborhood is safe-- that perimeter of the fire was contained and now it's spreading northward instead. But it looks likely their power has been cut, and I'm sure the smoke is terrible. I don't know if they've escaped to somewhere with cleaner air, or what they're doing. But I'm sure their house is all right.

I just thought, since I haven't in a while, I'd post to whine that I hate my job.

It's that it's dark out now so we keep having the overhead lights on, so my head thinks it's going to go splody.
Pooh.
