I imported my mp3 folder from my PC. I gave up on trying to sort out what I wanted and what I didn't. i'll do that from within iTunes.
I now have an mp3 library with the following statistics.
5798 songs, 16.7 days, 24.01 GB.
It's impressive. I know there are many people with more, but that's pretty impressive if I do say so myself.
That said, i have to wade through it and find the crap that's either not complete, not what I thought it was, poor quality, redundant, or stupid, and delete it.
Then, and only then, can I start buying new music. I haven't bought new music in years. Half of the library is pirated but half of it is actually ripped from my own (or Dave's) CDs that we purchased ourselves with our own money, thereby giving the record companies the dough they whine we're all stealing.
So... so there.
That said, thank god it is friday because i have a terrible pain in my eye and i need to go stare at something besides a computer screen for a while. goodnight...
