Oct. 9th, 2002 01:55 pmtemperature outside at 11 am: 47 F.
temperature inside at 11 am: 60 F.
temperature outside at 1:50 pm: 57 F.
temperature inside at 1:50 pm: 62 F.
Likely to get warmer in either place? No.
Brrrr!!!!!
Anytime Dad wants to set up that woodstove, I'll be more than happy to help him!! In the meantime, how much hot tea can one woman drink before she explodes?
That reminds me, Abbie gave me a really funny nickname up in the woods while we were breaking bottles, and I cannot for the life of me remember what it was.
I have got to get over this senility.

Oct. 9th, 2002 08:48 pmstill cold.
Mom turned on the heat, but only because her friend was coming to dinner. It's still freaking cold in here.
I changed the frog cage. Built up one corner into a little hill and planted a maple seedling, with two new patches of moss, different kinds, on it... put gravel under the water dish to prevent mold growing there... made the bark on the ground deeper so they could burrow, since it's cold sometimes... And instead of a rock in the water dish, i put a branch this time, which Bob seemed to like, as he perched on it with his feet in the water all through dinner. The branch'll get moldy, though, so i'll have to watch it. I don't know but I think mold is really really bad for frogs.
I know, I have been so boring lately. Jeez. But nobody else has been posting much, and i've just had so little to do... my brain is going away... far, far away...
hey, if anybody needs artistically shattered fragments of class, clear or colored, I gots da hookup for you. :-D
And Uncle Pete paid me a whole $15 a day for feeding his cats, so for a little while, i can afford my own food! I'm so psyched. (Well. Most of it will go for gas money. But. Still. I remain psyched.)
Right, my life's emptiness is echoing now, so I'm going to stop rambling on about it. Goodnight.
