i smell like "happy"

which is funny... it's a rainy day and i have cramps and have just walked three miles in the rain on a still-sore ankle WITH NO ANKLE BRACE DAMN YOU DAVE, and I have to get in the car in half an hour to drive down to Dansville of all places to meet Fiona again to get back my stupid camera.
But I got a postcard from Max in San Francisco, so he gets major good-boy-pat-on-the-head points for that. And he said hi on IM last night! He was only online for like a minute and a half, but still, Yay! He insists that he fell in the grand canyon and is dead. x.x very dead, see? But I don't believe him.
And my thesis advisor enthusiastically endorsed my thesis even though she still doesn't seem to have any idea what it's really about. Some idea. But not much.
So tonight i can sit down and work on that more; she doesn't think I need any other sections, just the one about Vietnam...
the girl in my Welsh class (i was gonna say one of the, but there are two girls and a boy in this class, and one of the girls is me), Hilary, got into her first choice for grad school, so she's going to western michigan or something like that to study medieval literature with someone really cool. so yay for hilary.
I jutht thneethed an' bit my thongue. Ow.
My eyes are all funny. Whee...
my professor told me i look like i'm getting a cold. Ugh ugh ugh. Noo. Phooey. I feel like I'm getting a cold, too. Bastards. NOOOO.
I wonder if I can make it go away by sheer force of will. **NNNGGGHHH** no, i don't think I can...

i'm going to go play with makeup now, because i have some, and maybe i can make myself not look like hell. Yay!
