Basement Funky Part Umpty Zillion

dragonlady7Z and I have triumphed over the Heavy Refrigerator of Doom. I grabbed an enormous piece of cardboard-- I think a chair came in the box-- and lay it on the floor, and Z and i tipped the fridge down onto its face, pivoted it end-around, and dragged it across the cardboard, whereupon I got under it and squat-lifted it while Z footed the base so it didn't slide, and then he came around and helped me tip it up onto the wood blocks that keep it from the possibly-damp floor. We rocked it carefully back into place, and voila! Basement fridge is now in its new position by the stairs-- easier to grab things you want from it!
Z had been pessimistic, but I am much, much happier with it where it is. The wall behind it was badly peeling and mildewed and needed attention, and will be much more useful with a cabinet/counter thing there instead.
So then I hosed the fridge down with mildew killer, scrubbed it out, and propped it open to defrost. I'll load the drinks and things back into it before I leave for work.
Shit, I was supposed to go downtown this morning. I don't have time for anything, man... Been researching laceguards and our competition are mostly only around $15. But I'd pay $20 for something really nice, and $25 for something custom, I think. Wouldn't you? Handmade, leather, local-made, etc? There's nothing on Etsy-- I looked at an expired listing, but nothing new posted there. That I could find. I'm not great at Etsy. :/
OK! finished my bagel, now on to the rest of my agenda for world domination!
