They make you follow a pen with your eyes, make you walk a straight line, make you stand on one foot, make you recite the alphabet, make you tell them the fifth letter of the alphabet, etc.
I fooled one group by keeping my knees bent during the stand-on-one-foot test. I can balance forever on my left foot with my knees bent. Straight out, not so much.
