The beagle is convinced that I am here for a reason I am not. That reason, she believes, is to take her for a walk. This is not true. I am here to use her mom's printer. She cannot forgive me for not taking her for a walk.

I sat on the floor to pet her and she jumped all over my lap. I just got her toenails cut the last time I beagle-sat, but they remain toenails, and are ever slightly too long.
She hurts me with her love. Ow. Gerroff.

I left Dave asleep and took the car and my computer. I expect I'll be home by noon, one way or another-- with my shield or upon it.

I can only Internet from Dave's mom's computer, a lovely old Mac PowerBook G3, because the network is configured to her hardware address. Retarded much, there, Adelphia? But anyway.

So I think I'll sit at my computer and ... write Éomer/Lothíriel smut.
No! I mean, uh...

That's not what I meant. That's not what I'm going to do. At all.

(If I do I'll post it.)

But of course, I am going to do something infinitely more constructive and useful. Well, I'll probably nap. I'm bushwhacked.
