sleepy.
had excellent idea at midnight last night. stayed up outlining. Ha.

So today's the day I get to go work 7 hours at the airport bar, drive half an hour home, change my clothes, and go directly to the other bar for another 4 to 6 hours.

At least I found my black pants. (They were in the closet all this time. Go figure.)

I'm not at all reluctant to tell people where the airport bar is. Cuz I don't walk to that, it's nowehere near my house, and you can't get in there unless you're a ticketed passenger, and ticketed passengers ain't gonna be following me home. Also, i won't be closing.

So, if you're flying through Buffalo International Airport, all the bars are run by the same people, and I'll be bartending/serving at all of 'em. :) And the beer is twice the going rate for a beer in that area.

That is, if I survive today. That's not necessarily guaranteed. *falls over dead*

So today I get to find out what the catch is in this gig. They were so eager to hire me before they even saw my resume, they pay for parking, there are benefits, they pay for food, they pay for your uniform, they pay $2 more an hour than most bartending jobs-- what's the catch? Why were they so desperate for people?
I'll be all, Nancy Drew on this mystery. :)

Wow. This schedule sounds tricky. Take plenty of breaks! And take care o you. (Congrats on getting both jobs, btw. See: you're fabulous and all the employers think so.)

This schedule bites ass. However, it's temporary.
I have to discuss with Airport Bar guy. Neighborhood Bar Guy has already told me he wants me two days a week, in the evenings. Airport Bar Guy hinted at days. That would be fine. Just, not the same days. I cannot continue to be a stark staring moron as I go from one job to the other and forget, at each one, the little but important differences... (at Neighborhood Bar, the credit card machine is separate. When someone includes a tip on their credit card tab, the cash for the tip is taken out of the till and put into the tip jar for the correct person. At Airport Bar, the credit card machine is part of the till. Credit card tips are accounted for and are put into your paycheck. Biiiiiig difference. At either place, if I do the wrong thing, that's probably enough to get fired. But can I keep them straight? Noooo. Have to ask every time. Get looked at like I"m crazy every time.)
